On Wednesday April 13th 2016 the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 107 will once again be promoting the Anti-Bullying message of the International Day of Pink.As in previous years, we are sponsoring an elementary school (Holbrook Elementary School) to receive Pink Shirts, guest speakers, entertainment and pizza party, all while promoting our Anti-bullying mandate of Acceptance, Tolerance and Understanding.
In addition, our members will be handing out 1000 Pink Gerber Daisies to passengers and the passing public at the McNab St Transit Terminal and Hamilton Go Station from 8am to 10am.
This is our 5th year working to promote the Anti-Bullying message and would invite your participation in this year’s event by attending and handling out some Daisies or/and by wearing one of the Official Day of Pink T-shirts on April 13th.
ATU 107 was pleased to provide the Mayors office with our Acceptance. Tolerance and Understanding Tee’s. Thanks to Mayor Fred Esienberger for sharing our Anti-Bullying message.
